My cousin Mary cooked me a such feast that it was too divine to describe accurately; a roasted butternut squash risotto & a peach tart (heehee) with vanilla pods etc etc etc.
I painted this oil sketch of her years ago with her (then new) Marc Jacobs ring and am so flattered that it sits in her study. She and her husband are so trendy they don't really 'do' conventional paintings.

I love her ragette look. When Mary gets cross with me, I get nervous laughter, which in turn makes her even crosser. It's a deliciously vicious circle.
